In 2006 in Ierapetra, Crete, the agronomist Thanasis Souravlis, having recognized the region’s potential thanks to its particular microclimate and the many hours of sunlight it receives even during winter, installed the first 7.5-acre greenhouse. His vision and objective was to create a model production unit, focused on the preservation and improvement of fruit quality.
All greenhouse structures are state-of-the-art. The crops are monitored; we ensure that production adheres to the proper guidelines, and there are no unnecessary interventions on our crops. All our actions are recorded, as stipulated by the integrated management system we implement and the high standards we have adopted, in order to ensure the high quality of the end product and the protection of the region where we operate.
